Tahiya Rahman from Paratoli village had long struggled with financial hardship as her unemployed husband left the family dependent on her father-in-law. Despite the difficulties, Tahiya held onto a faint hope of changing her family’s future.

Her dreams began to take shape after she received free three-month sewing training from Bashundhara Shuvosangho. Following the training, Bashundhara Group gifted her a sewing machine—giving her the tools to become self-reliant.

“Now I do not have to depend on anyone. The training and sewing machine from Bashundhara Shuvosangho have boosted my confidence,” an emotional Tahiya said.

She expressed optimism about supporting her family and securing a better future for her children. “I am sincerely grateful to Bashundhara Group’s chairman. It is because of people like him that helpless women like us can dare to dream,” she added.

Tahiya also expressed heartfelt thanks to Bashundhara Group and Shuvosangho for helping transform the lives of women in need.
