Brahmanbaria Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Jesmin Sultana has appreciated the humanitarian and public welfare works carried out through private as well as government initiatives.

“When such works are accomplished together by the government and private initiatives, the welfare of the people is accelerated further. Bashundhara Group is working for the welfare of the people. As part of that, they have distributed sewing machines to 60 helpless women in Bancharampur. It is really a commendable initiative,” she said.

ADC Jesmin also expressed hope that sewing machines would be distributed across the country and other companies will also follow the humanitarian activities of the Bashundhara Group.

“This initiative will create employment opportunities for women and help them to be self-reliant. Our dream for a prosperous country will move forward,” she said.
