Bangladeshi researcher and IT professional Kazi Md Riaz Hossan, based in Virginia, USA, has received the prestigious Global Recognition Award 2025 for his pioneering contributions to data-driven innovation, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), healthcare technology, and cybersecurity.

Hossan has earned global acclaim for his extensive research and publications in AI-integrated solutions for complex problems. He also co-authored the influential book Code Life: How Algorithms Are Reshaping the Future of Healthcare.

The award committee described him as “embodying the spirit of modern innovation,” praising his interdisciplinary work in natural language processing, e-health frameworks, and cybersecurity for effectively linking theory with real-world application.

Besides research, Hossan serves on editorial boards and reviews for several international journals, including the International Journal of Machine Learning and the International Journal of Data Science. He is also a programme committee member for global IT conferences.

A native of Bangladesh, Hossan holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Washington University of Science and Technology, Virginia. He is an active member of the IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
