Arambagh Krira Shangha secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over BRTC Sports Club in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) 2024-25 on Thursday.

Md Jakir Hossain Ziku was the standout performer, scoring twice in the 38th and 63rd minutes. Md Ariful Islam Sakhawat also contributed with a goal in the 49th minute, while BRTC’s sole response came from Md Imon, who found the net in first-half injury time (45+1).

City Club came from behind to defeat Farashganj Sporting Club 3-1. Farashganj took the lead early, with Md Sujon scoring in the 5th minute.

However, City Club responded with three goals: Mobinur Rashid equalised in the 27th minute, Md Masum Mia gave them the lead in the 38th minute, and Md Mijanur Rahman sealed the win with a strike in the 86th minute.

In another match, Wari Club were held by Dhaka Rangers Football Club, in a dramatic 2-2 draw. Wari took an early advantage through Sabbir Ahmed Opurbo’s 16th-minute strike.

Dhaka Rangers responded in the 40th minute, with Md Al Amin Rahman equalising. Wari seemed to have secured the points when Shahnar Ahammed Shuvo scored in the 86th minute, but a last-gasp equaliser from Md Rubel in the 90+3rd minute ensured the match ended in a draw.
