Bashundhara Shuvosangho has distributed iftar items among beggars and destitute people in Faridpur town, marking the holy month of Ramadan.

Members of the organisation served iftar items to 150 uprooted men and women in front of the Alipur cemetery in the town on Saturday.

Shuvosangho district unit advisers Kamruzzaman Sohel, Harun Or Rashid, and Md Nur Islam, President Tanmoy Roy, General Secretary Sonia Sultana, Office Secretary Tihan Ahmed, Planning Affairs Secretary Ehsanul Haque Milan, Hospitality Affairs Secretary Biplob Biswas and executive members Sanat Chakraborty, Samrat Sheikh and Mukta were present on the occasion.

Sonia Sultana said, “Bashundhara Shuvosangho has given us the opportunity to stand by the beggars and the displaced people by going to the market.”
