“Lux Star” Sifat Tahsin recently came to Dhaka after a long hiatus. She has acted in an Eid drama during her visit. The drama titled “Agnishikha” has been directed by KM Sohag Rana and produced by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz. Tahsin stars alongside Yash Rohan and Tanjim Saiyara Totini in it.

Regarding acting in a drama after seven years, Sifat Tahsin said, “The shooting was different back in our time. Now, working, I felt like I was in a picnic mood! Even though I worked in a crowded place like Old Dhaka, I didn’t feel that atmosphere! Everything in Raz’s unit was much organised. Director Rana is a very kind person. And Agnishikha is a wonderful story. All in all, I liked to act in it.”

The drama also stars Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Fakhrul Basher, Mili Basher, Barada Mithu, and others. “Agnishikha” will be released on the Cinemawala YouTube channel on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

Sifat Tahsin started her journey in the entertainment industry through the beauty pageant “Lux-Channel i Superstar” competition in 2009. She made it to the top five. Later, she has been seen in several dramas and commercials. Tahsin got married in 2018 and moved to Toronto, Canada. Her latest drama was aired on a private television channel in 2019.

Last January, she shot a drama in various locations in New York, USA.
