A youth died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) after a team of the detective branch (DB) of police arrested him.

The victim, Fahim Ahmed, 34, died at the hospital on Saturday, sources confirmed.

According to sources, a team of DB Wari Division under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested him from the capital early on the day.

As he became ill, he was taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment.
