Noted singer of the subcontinent Sabina Yasmin returned to stage after a year on January 31. The legendary singer fell ill while singing on stage that day. After that, she was hospitalised for a few days. After a few days of rest, she sang a song in February.

Written by Mohammad Rafiquzzaman, the song was composed and arranged by Shawkat Ali Emon. Along with Sabina Yasmin, ten other artistes of this generation, including Syed Abdul Hadi, have sung the song.

This time, the singer has lent her voice to another song titled “Amar Pataka Lal Sobuje Aka”. It will be released on the occasion of the upcoming Independence Day.  Singer Asif Akbar has also sung along with her.

It is known that the lyrics of the song have been written by noted lyricist Moniruzzaman Monir while Monowar Hossain Tutul has composed the track.

  It may be mentioned that Sabina Yasmin was out of singing for more than a year. On 31 January, she went on stage to sing at the “Amader Sabina Yasmin: Ami Achi Thakbo” programme at a five-star hotel in the capital. She fell ill after performing on stage for an hour and a half.

Earlier, Sabina Yasmin performed multiple stage shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Australia, in late 2023.
