Another suspected killer of Jhenaidah-4 MP Anwarul Azim Anar has given a confessional statement before a Dhaka court.
Tanvir Bhuiyan, 30, son of Hanif Mohammad of Phultala in Khulna, gave the statement before Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain on Tuesday.
After recording the statement, the magistrate ordered sending him to Jail.

Earlier on Monday, Celesty Rahman, another suspect in the gruesome murder, also gave a confessional statement before the same court.
Meanwhile, a team led by Additional Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) Commissioner Harun Or Rashid returned home from Nepal on Tuesday.
Earlier, another team led by Harun Or Rashid also went to India to learn details of the murder of Bangladeshi lawmaker Anwarul Azim.

At Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday, Harun told reporters that the Nepal police unofficially informed that they arrested Siam Hossain, 33, one of the suspects in the murder of the MP.
Although the DB team could not grill Siam, it gathered much information about him which will be associated with the investigation.
On the return of Siam, the DB officer said that they requested Nepal to send Siam back to Bangladesh.
“Our country has no extradition treaty with Nepal, but the country can return him if they want,” he said.

The police official said a murder was filed in connection with the murder of the MP Azim at a police station in India’s Kolkata.
India, which has an extradition treaty with Nepal, also requested Nepal to hand over Siam to them.
On the return of Akhteruzzaman Shahin, who is suspected to be the mastermind of the killing, the DB chief said Bangladesh has no extradition treaty with the US where Shahin managed to flee.
Mentioning that India has such a treaty with the US, he said, India would try to bring him back.
