Police recovered the body of a newborn baby from a sack in a shuttle train parked at Chattogram Railway Station in the port city on Friday night.
 Sources said the train left Chittagong University (CU) station for the city’s old railway station at around 9:30pm.
When it reached the Chattogram Railway Station at around 10:15pm, the students noticed the sack and a newborn baby inside the sack. According to information, police
recovered the body from compartment no. 2024 of the train, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Shahidul Islam of Chattogram Railway Station Police Station.
Quoting the eyewitnesses, he said that an unidentified lady rode on the train from the campus with the sack and got down at the Sholoshohor Railway Station, leaving it in the train.
