State Minister for Water Resources Zaheed Farooq said the ‘Industrial Water Use Policy’ is a timely and pioneering initiative by the government to successfully implement Vision 2041.
“The Industrial Water Use Policy is a timely and groundbreaking initiative. If the Ministry of Water Resources and other ministries, departments, public and private institutions, foreign development partners, and public cooperation are expanded to implement this policy, it will bring far-reaching results for Smart Bangladesh,” he said while addressing a workshop on 'Industrial Water Use Policy' as chief guest on Wednesday.
The workshop, jointly organised by the Water Resources Planning Organisation and the 2030 Water Resources Group of the World Bank, was held at the multi-purpose conference hall of Pani Bhaban in the capital, a press release said.
