The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) signed an agreement with the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA) to share its document verification system (DVS) for the verification of audited financial statements of tender-participants in the Electronic Government Procurement (e­GP) System.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the two parties at the CA Bhaban in Dhaka on Thursday.
BPPA Chief Executive Officer Md Shoheler Rahman Chowdhury and ICAB CEO Shubhashish Bose signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.   Higher officials of IMED, Ministry of Planning, GoB and ICAB were present in the ceremony. ICAB President Mohammed Forkan Uddin FCA was also present.
