The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police arrested three alleged members of a human trafficking racket from the capital on Monday.
They are Ibrahim Mollick Nahid, 35, Sharmin Hossain alias Laboni, 36 and Arifur Rahman alias Sadi, 24.

Nahid, who is the ringleader of the cycle, is the proprietor of ‘Jannat Trade International,’ said Azad Rahman, SSP (Media) of the CID.
They took a large amount of money from three fortune seekers, assuring them of sending them to Kyrgyzstan with good jobs.
Tk5.12 lakh was taken from each, said the CID.
After taking the money, the victims were provided with fake visas and air tickets.
