The 11th national and 8th international conference of Association of Pediatric Surgeons of Bangladesh (APSB) was held on Friday and Saturday.
Famous pediatric surgeons of the country participated in the scientific sessions of conference held at Ocean Paradise Hotel, Cox's Bazar, says a press release.
Every year a distinguished pediatric surgeon is awarded the 'Professor Quazi Quamruzzaman Best Pediatric Surgeon Gold Medal' at the conference.
This year, Professor Dr. Md. Kabirul Islam, MS, (paediatric surgery) FACS, FRCS, senior consultant and coordinator of Pediatric Surgery Department of Square Hospital Ltd, received the medal.
