Reigning champions Bashundhara Kings continued their domination in the ongoing ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League 2023-24 after they beat Fortis Football Club by a 1-0 margin at the Muktijuddho Sriti Stadium in Rajshahi on Saturday.

Fortis, however, tried their best to stage a fight back in the match but could not score any in the remaining proceeding.
With this win, Kings consolidated their top position with 31 points from 12 matches while Fortis Football Club remained with 13 points.
Meanwhile, Malian forward Souleymane Diabate struck five times as Mohammedan Sporting Club earned this season’s biggest win as they humiliated Brothers Union by 8-0 goals at the Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
Apart from Diabate’s (43rd, 45th, 68th, 72nd, 89th) five goals, midfielder Shahriar Emon (34th), forward Jewel Mia (75th) and Nigerian defender Emmanuel Tony (87th) scored apiece for Mohammedan to help their side remain in the second place in the points table.
Mohammedan, who collected 26 points from 12 games, are the only unbeaten side in the ongoing meet.
Meanwhile, Chittagong Abahoni Limited beat Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society by 2-1 goals in the other match of the day in Munshiganj.
Seventh-placed Ctg Abahoni’s Nigerian forward Paul Seun Komolafe (15th) and defender Rayhan Hasan (48th) scored once each before Ghanaian forward Ernest Boateng (57th) pulled one goal back for the ninth-placed Rahmatganj.
