Popular TV channels of the country always air special programmes during the Eid festivals. Like every Eid, on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, local TV channels will also broadcast an array of programmes featuring films, telefilms, dramas, musical and magazine shows. Here’s a highlights of the Eid specials.

BTV: Bangladesh Television (BTV) will air magazine show “Ananda Mela” at 10:30pm on Eid-day. Popular film actor Nusraat Faria will host the show. This year’s “Ananda Mela” features a song “Cholo Gane Gane Gori Notun Prithibi” sung by legendary singer Runa Laila.  

The Eid special “Ityadi” will be aired at 8:30pm on the channel a day after Eid. Four star-studded tele-fictions “Chan Rater Mehman”, “Golaper Subash”, “Joubon” and “Neelav” will be aired on the channel at 9:00pm on the eve of Eid, Eid day, 2nd and 3rd day of Eid respectively.

'Krishoker Eid Anondo'

 

Channel i: The channel’s Eid special programmes feature seven new films, thirteen telefilms, fifteen dramas and magazine shows.
Masud Pathik-directed “Nekabborer Mohaproyan” will be aired at 1:15 pm on Eid day. Films “Phyco”, “Patal Ghor”, “Deshantor”, “Shatru”, “Ashomvob” and “Aporajeo” will be premiered at 10:15am every day from the 2nd day to the 7th day of Eid.   

The channel will also air telefilms “Jiboner Kache”, “Shera Ruposhi”, “Swapna Dekhar Dinguli”, “I Love Metrorail”, “Shonir Dosha”, “Faki” and “Hothat Dekha”.  
Afzal Hossain-directed new eight-episode production “Nakal Nokol Choto Kaku” from “Choto Kaku”' series will be aired at 6:10pm every day.  Popular magazine show “Krishoker Eid Anondo” will be broadcast at 4:30 pm on 2nd day of Eid.

Boishakhi TV: Eid-special programmes of Boishakhi TV include 27 new dramas, seven Bangla movies, musical show and others. Among the plays 15 are single-episode, seven are drama series and seven are mega dramas. Single dramas will be aired at 8:10 and 9:50pm every day from Eid-day to 7th day of Eid.  

The channel will air five 7-episode serials-- “Ami Manush”, “Pach Ton”, “Hridoy e Tumi”, “Shaheb Bibi Goalm” and “Kuber Majhi”.  
And seven mega dramas will be aired every day at 11:35pm.  

ATN Bangla: Renowned director and anchor Hanif Sanket directed drama “Alokita Andhokar” will be aired at 7:50 pm on Eid day.  
 Musical show “Imran Show-Bokul O Chandan E Ganer Bandhane” will be telecast at 10:30 pm on the third day of Eid.  
Pahela Baishakh special ‘Panch Phoron’ will be aired at 10:30pm on the 4th day of Eid.

Drama Gorom Ekta Khobor Ache on RTV

RTV: RTV will telecast 8-day special programmes. The shows include dramas, movies, mucic and chat shows.
Single-episode drama “Gorom Ekta Khobor Ache” will be aired at 7:30 pm on Eid day. Mosharraf Karim, Tania Brishty will be seen acting in the lead roles in the drama.
Eid special live musical show “Colours of Music” will be broadcast at 11:55pm on the 1st day of Eid.

Drama Amoron Biyeshon on NTV

 

Single-episode drama “Praktan”, starring Yash Rohan and Samira Khan Mahi will be telecast at 7:30pm on the 3rd day of Eid.
NTV: Single-episode drama “Amaran Biyeshon” will be broadcast at 7:55pm on Eid day. The drama stars Tanjin Tisha, Junayed Bukdadi, Shilpi Sarkar Apu and others.

Drama serial “Prabashi Paribar Eid Special” will be aired at 6:45pm every day from Eid day. Telefilm “Megher Danay Tui” will be aired at 2:30pm on 7th day of Eid.  
Banglavision: The eight-day programmes of Banglavision include one drama serial, 42 single-episode dramas, seven telefilms, seven Bangla movies and different shows.  
The seven-episode drama serial tilted “Miss Sheulir Premikera” will be aired at 8:40pm daily from Eid day.  

Telefilms “Sampatti”, “Pawnadar”, “Ami Kar Ke Amar”, “100 percent Bhejal Prem”, “Shefali Fuler Naame”, “Kheyal” and “Babar Biye” will be aired at 2:10 from Eid day to 7th day of Eid.  
Single-episode play “Tomay Bhalobeshe” starring Mushfiq Farhan and Aisha Khan will be aired at 5:10pm on Eid day

Mosharraf Karim and Jannatul Sumaiya Himi-starrer drama “Mukti” will be aired at 9:25 pm on the 3rd day of Eid.  
Duronto TV: Bangla-dubbed films “Dummie the Mummy”, “Dummie the Mummy and the Sphinx of Shakaba”, “Supper Miss”, “A Most Annoying Island”, “Lioness”, “Circus Noel - Feel the Magic” and “The Smart Family” will be aired at 3:00pm everyday of 7 days of Eid.

Drama series “Hoi Hoi Holla Season 3” will be aired at 9:30am, 1:30pm and 9:30pm daily.
Cooking show “Banai Mojar Khabar Ma Baba r Ami (season 3)” will be telecast 7:30am, 2:00pm and 7:00pm.
Nagorik TV: The channel will air five movies, two seven-episode dramas, one web series and 7 single dramas every day from Eid-day to the 7th day of Eid.

The movies will be aired at 8:30am, 10:30am, 1:20pm, 4:35pm and 11:30pm every day.  Drama series will be aired at 7:35pm and 8:15pm while single drama will be aired at 10.20pm every day. And the web series will be seen every day at 9:00pm.

Deepto TV:  Popular private television channel Deepto TV will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with seven day special programmes including airing movies, dramas, music shows and celebrity adda.  
Original web film “UNO Sir” will be aired at 4:00pm on Eid-day. Directed by Syed Shakil, the  play stars Ziaul Faruk Apurba, Totini, Entekhab Diner, Joy Raj and others.    

Seven episode Bangla-dubbed Turkish drama serial “Tumi Achho Shobkhane” will be aired at 5:50pm every day from Eid-day to the 7th day of Eid.  
Special single episode drama “Neshar Latim” will be aired at 8:00pm on the first day of Eid. Directed by Shohel Hasan, Mosharraf Karim and Samira Khan Mahi have played lead roles in the play.  
Blockbuster horror film “Jinn” will have its world premiere at 1:00pm on the second day of Eid.
