In the spirit of compassion and generosity that characterises the holy month of Ramadan, the Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei, in collaboration with Kris Karmila Kreations, organised a heartwarming charity drive to bring joy to underprivileged children in the local community.
The event, held on Friday at the Bangladesh High Commission in Bandar Seri Begawan, witnessed the distribution of Eid gifts to thirty deserving children.
The initiative, spearheaded by Performance Artist and Philanthropist Kris Karmila and the Bangladesh High Commissioner Nahida Rahman Shumona, aimed to spread happiness and alleviate the burdens of families facing economic hardships during this festive season.
Through the generous support of Kris Karmila Kreations, along with the backing of the Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce in Brunei and five other esteemed local organizations, this charitable endeavor became a reality.
Nahida Rahman Shumona, alongside representatives from Kris Karmila Kreations and supporting organizations, personally handed out Eid gifts to the children, bringing smiles to their faces and warmth to their hearts.
