Through excellent international relations and cooperation between Nepal and Bangladesh, further development is possible in industry, trade, communication, education and agriculture between the two countries, said Nepalese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari on Thursday.

The workshop titled ‘Production Efficiency and Employment Nexus’ was held at the conference hall of the Faculty of Agriculture of BAU.
“Although Bangladesh and Nepal are equal in size, but have huge differences in the amount of cultivated land. The agriculture sector suffers a lot in Nepal as the country is mostly covered by Himalayan mountains.”, he said. The Ambassador also discussed the status, possibilities and challenges of fruit and vegetable cultivation in and around the city in the context of Nepal.
Project PI Professor Dr Md Anwarul Abedin said “Our land is decreasing every year due to climate change.
