Popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba has garnered appreciation for his performance in the much-talked-about web series “Buker Moddhye Agun”. Now the actor will star in the spin-off of the web series titled “Golam Mamun”.
The series will be directed by Shihab Shaheen. Apurba will play the central character ASP Golam Mamun in the spin-off. The details of the project are yet to be revealed.
Besides Apurba, the series also stars Yash Rohan, Abu Hurayra Tanvir, Tama Mirza, Shahnaz Sumi, Tania Ahmed, Tauquir Ahmed, Tariq Anam Khan and others.

The 2023 mystery thriller series “Buker Moddhye Agun” was directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu. Apurba portrayed the character of ASP Golam Mamun in the series.
The story of “Buker Moddhye Agun” was about the country’s once-popular film actor Arman Rahman, who committed suicide in 2002. After his death of 20 years, Police assigned ASP Golam Mamun to investigate his death. Due to the plot’s similarity with popular Bangladeshi actor Salman Shah’s life events, the series created a lot of interest among the viewers.  
“Golam Mamun” will be released on the OTT platform Hoichoi.
