The Department of English and Modern Languages (DEML) at IUBAT – International University of Business Agriculture and Technology delights Audiences with An Adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venic.
DEML at IUBAT proudly presented an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s timeless classic, The Merchant of Venice, directed by the esteemed Md Kawsar Uddin. The captivating performance took place at the IUBAT Open Auditorium on Saturday.
Continuing their tradition of excellence, DEML showcased this adaptation following their acclaimed productions of “Macbeth” in 2023 and “Romeo and Juliet” in 2020. Recognising the importance of engaging younger audiences, this production was specially crafted to resonate with them, incorporating unique background sounds, music, and dance to create a truly immersive and thought-provoking experience.
A talented group of actors and actresses from DEML brought the characters to life on stage, captivating the audience with their exceptional performances.
