Bashundhara Shuvosangho has been setting examples of humanitarian activities implementing social works across the country over the years. Such volunteer activities will foster the journey towards building a Smart Bangladesh. The youth group under the leadership of noted writer Imdadul Haq Milan is moving forward in style.
Bashundhara Shuvosangho is continuously working to build an enlightened society with the help of Bashundhara Group. Their activities are undoubtedly commendable. I learn about their humanitarian and social activities across the country through newspapers and television. They are co-operating the government in social work through disbursing winter clothes, and food supports for the poor families in Ramadan. Bashundhara Shuvosangho is also organising free medical camps to reach basic treatment among extreme poor communities.
The volunteers distribute trees free of charge to maintain the natural balance. Bashundhara Shuvosangho volunteers ran to the needy people across the country with food items. How can we avoid such noble works? On behalf of Bashundhara Group, the volunteers are standing beside the students of poor, helpless, distressed families who do not find hope for further higher education after overcoming hundreds of hurdles.
I am very happy to see the Bashundhara Shuvosangho School being run with the help of Bashundhara Group in the area under my constituency. Many of the families of these students are victims of river erosion. I will never forget the smile I saw on the faces of the family members as they took responsibility for the education of the children of these families through Bashundhara Shuvosangho School. Bashundhara Shuvosangho set up a library to protect the youth society from moral decay. It will play an immense role for our society. Such activities of Bashundhara Group are an example to humanise and enlighten future generations. I want to express gratitude to Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and all his family members.
