Yasir Azman, chief executive officer (CEO) at Grameenphone, has been elected as the president of the Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB).
The association took the decision at its annual general meeting held at its office in Banani recently, said a press release on Thursday.
Azman will succeed Erik Aas, CEO of Banglalink, and assume the role for a two-year term, effective from April.
