BSSSP honours Bannya

Country’s noted Tagore singer Rezwana Choudhury Bannya has been named for India’s prestigious civilian award “Padma Shri” recently. Bangladesh Sangeet Sangathan Samannay Parishad (BSSSP) held a reception to the singer for her achievement.
The reception ceremony was held at the auditorium of the Music and Dance Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) on Saturday. “Mancha Sarathi” Ataur Rahman graced the occasion as the chief guest with BSSSP president Mahmud Selim in the chair.
Managing Director of Channel i Faridur Reza Sagar, Sammilita Sangskritik Jote President Golam Kuddus, Vice President of Bangladesh Sangeet Sangathan Samannay Parishad Biswajit Roy, General Secretary Narayan Chandra Sheel, among others, were also present.
Artistes of music school Surer Dhara and BSSSP performed on the occasion.
