The four-day DRMC Bashundhara National and Codeavour International Science Fair-2024 concluded on Sunday.
The event was held at the auditorium of Dhaka Residential Model College (DRMC).
At the closing ceremony, Science and Technology Minister Architect Yafes Osman was present as the chief guest. Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Limited's AGM (brand communications) Md. Saiful Islam Rubel, Platinum Sponsor Summit Group Vice President Mohammad Farid Khan, and Paragon Group MD Mashiur Rahman, were present as special guests. The title sponsor of the carnival was Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Limited.
Speaking on the occasion, Yafes Osman said that the sponsorship of such a great event is undoubtedly commendable, which will encourage young students to practice science. This festival will make people curious and inquisitive about scientific innovation.
College Principal Brigadier General Kazi Shameem Farhad presided over the programme. He urged the students to devote  themselves to the welfare of the country and the nation by being motivated in the practice of science.
At the end of the event, the names of the winners of various competitions were announced. The chief guest along with other guests handed over the prizes to the winners.
Students from more than 400 schools, colleges and universities participated in Codeavour 1.0, Project Display, Wall Magazine, Scrap Book Display, Photography Exhibition, Olympiads, IQ Test, Science Fiction Writing, Illustration Exhibition, Poster Designing Exhibition, Gaming Contest, Line Following, Sudoku, science-based lectures, Quiz, and robotics workshops.
