We are very happy with Bashundhara Group's contribution to human welfare and government support in different times. It is not only doing philanthropic activities in Madaripur but also other parts of the country. Bashundhara Shuvosangho recently distributed blankets among the cold-hit people in my constituency.
Bashundhara Group has set an example of humanitarian activities by standing by the people in their hour of need, such as during calamities or chilly winter. It cooperates with the government in social activities.
The industrial conglomerate built a hospital for the treatment of Covid-19 patients during the pandemic. Bashundhara
Shuvosangho recently established a school in Madaripur’s Peyarpur. The social platform distributed sewing machines among women to make them self-employed.
So far as I know, Bashundhara Group has provided scholarships for poor students and distributed blankets among the underprivileged through its social arm. All those who are rich in or around Madaripur can be inspired by these social activities.
Bangladesh is experiencing shivering cold this year. All of us who are capable should stand by the cold-hit people in our respective areas. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also continued blanket distribution up to the union level. We think it is the moral responsibility of the government as well as all capable individuals to stand by the people. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh is moving forward to become a developing country.
The country saw tremendous growth over the past decade in various fields, including healthcare. The countrymen should be grateful to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her prudent leadership. The private sector players like Bashundhara Group can cooperate with the government in social initiatives.
