A total of 28 research projects worth Tk 95lakh have been approved for the year 2024 under the Research and Extension Directorate of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET).
Besides, certificates and felicitations were given to the researchers who completed 24 research projects at a programme titled "Research Project Award and Project Completion Acknowledgment 2024" held at academic council room of the university on Thursday.
CUET Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam was present as the chief guest in the programme, presided by the Directorate’s Director Professor Dr. Professor Dr Sajal Chandra Banik.
Civil and Environment Engineering Faculty Dean Professor Dr Sudip Kumar Pal, Electrical and Computer Technology Faculty Dean Professor Dr Mohammad Samsul Arefin, Mechanical Engineering Faculty Dean Professor Dr Sheikh Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Science and Technology Faculty Dean Professor Dr AH Rashedul Hossain and Architecture and Planning Faculty Dean Professor Dr Muhammad Rashidul Hasan attended the programme as the special guests.
