The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on 26 November.
The Inter-Education Board has finalised the date for result publication following the approval of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-committee Chairman Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar confirmed this development to the Daily Sun on Saturday.
According to the usual practice, the results will officially be handed over to the prime minister in the morning on 26 November. Later, students from all over the country will get the results simultaneously.
Sources at the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka said the authorities earlier sought the prime minister’s approval to publish results between 26 and 28 November.
The HSC exams for eight of the nine general education boards started on 17 August. Due to floods, the exams for the other general board, Chattogram education board, and madrasah and technical boards began on 27 August.
