Expatriates' Welfare Minister Imran Ahmad has supported the demand of non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) to increase interest rate for investment in bond.
He said the government could revise the rates in the current context.

In his speech, Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman mentioned that the NRBs are facing harassment in different offices of the government to recieve service.

Nasser, FBCCI former president Jashim Uddin, Rupayan Group co-chairman Mahir Ali Khan Ratul and HSBC Bangladesh chief executive officer Mahbub ur Rahman spoke on the occasion. Jatiya Press Club general secretary Shyamal Dutta moderated a panel discussion.
