BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the government will not get way to escape if it doesn’t resign immediately.

“Please you (government) leave the power and create scope to establish a people’s state, government and parliament. Otherwise, you will not get way to escape,” he said. The BNP leader came up with the statement while speaking at a discussion arranged by Ganasanghati Andolon at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity in the capital on Tuesday.

He also called the country men to take to street peacefully to ensure fall of the current Awami League government.

“Our country and people are in danger now. It is our responsibility to protect this existence. We have to come forward with that responsibility,” Mirza Fakhrul said.

Mentioning that change has been brought to their movement this time, he said now their simultaneous movement is waged for one point demand offal of this government.

Meanwhile, talking to reporters after visiting injured leaders and activists of the BNP at city’s Shamarita                hospital, Mirza Fakhrul alleged that the government wants to come to the power again through repressing people. “But people will build resistance (against repression by the government) this time,” he said.
