Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in eight divisions, including Dhaka, over 24 hours, starting from 9 am on Tuesday.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at most places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions; at many places in Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions; and at a few places in Rajshahi division with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places across the country,” said a regular BMD bulletin.
