Entrepreneurs urged to invest more in startup

Experts at a summit urged entrepreneurs to invest more in startup for making the country smart one.

They made the call while speaking at the closing ceremony of the two-day "Bangladesh Startup Summit 2023" in the capital on Sunday night, said a press release on Tuesday, reports BSS.

Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman Fazlur Rahman attended the ceremony as the chief guest while State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak presided over it.

In his speech, Salman said invest more in Bangladeshi startups and the government will ensure the protection and support to the investors.

In the summit, Bangladesh-India Startup Bridging Portal, multi-crore Fund of Fund for future entrepreneurs and Smart Bangladesh Accelerator were inaugurated.

In addition, 40 sessions were held on FinTech, EdTech, HealthTech and ExiTech to showcase the services of the country's top startups and the Youth Co-lab Startup winners were awarded.
