The authorities of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) are going to launch a hotline number today to hear complaints from air passengers and solve their problems immediately.
The 24-hour hotline number is 09614-013600. A separate app titled ‘Customer Relationship Management Software’ and a full airport website in this regard will also be launched on the day.
HSIA Executive Director Group Captain Kamrul Islam said launching of new services will make a huge impact on customer management in the country’s biggest international airport.
“We are going to launch a hotline, website and software. A passenger will be able to call the hotline number 09614-013600 for flight-related information, issues and complaints and visit http://www.hsia.gov.bd. On receiving the call, the operators will report the complaint or problem to the department concerned and the department will deal with it,” he said.
The HSIA executive director also said another hotline number -- 13600 -- will also be opened within a few days. In this new software, when a plane of an airline will take off, when a plane will arrive, list of duty-free goods, airport information service, answers to any questions related to the airport, list of names of customs duty officers, and information related to all CAAB services, immigration police services, security services and first aid services will be available.
The new software will also provide airport help desk protocol services, wheelchair services, lost and found services, banking and money exchange services, hotel information.
In case of emergency, the phone numbers of all officials on duty at the airport will be found in this software.
“You can find out all the information about the airport from home without suffering and you can also file complaints. Through this initiative, the quality of passenger services will increase further,” he added.
