Anuv Jain to perform at ICCB today

Indian singer Anuv Jain will perform at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital today. He will render his popular songs at a concert titled ‘Let’s Vibe Dhaka with Anuv Jain’ at Noboratri Hall of ICCB.

Adventor Communications and Triple Time Communications are jointly organising the concert.  Bangladeshi singer Tahsan Rahman Khan, Pritom Hasan and Xefer Rahman will also perform at the concert.

Starting from 5:00pm the live musical event will continue till 10:00pm.

Anuv Jain is an Indian singer, songwriter and composer. He is well known for his bass voice and simple chorded songs with lyrics featuring with love and heartbreak. He mostly uses only a guitar or a ukulele, unaccompanied by percussion or other instruments.

Jain was born in Mumbai and brought up in Ludhiana. When he was 17 years old, his father died after having been in a coma for several years, and Jain began to write songs as a way to express his emotions. He started his musical journey by uploading original work on his YouTube channel, his first song was ‘Meri Baaton Mein Tu’ and after that his song ‘Baarishein’ has been released. In an interview with Rolling Stone India, he said he gets inspiration from real life incidents and writes songs over a period of months. 

In 2018, he released his first single ‘Baarishein’. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he decided to pursue music as a full-time career. He has also performed live shows across the India.
