Workshop on role of 4IR held

A workshop on the role of the fourth industrial revolution in the development of Smart Bangladesh was held at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University campus in Mymensingh.

The workshop was organised by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell in the virtual conference room of the university's administrative building on Sunday.

Bangladesh University Grants Commission member Prof.Dr. Md Sazzaad Hossain joined the workshop as the chief guest. 

The secretary of Bangladesh University Grants Commission Ferdous Zaman was a special guest while Nazrul University registrar Dr. Md. Humayun Kabir gave the welcome speech.

 In his speech, Prof.Dr. Md Sazzaad Hossain emphasised the need to develop skilled manpower to adapt to the changes.

“The world is now going through a new paradigm shift.  We are now living in an age of invisible technology.  To adapt to this, we need to develop skilled manpower.”

The chief guest mentioned that smart Bangladesh would be a humane and peaceful country based on information technology.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University Prof. Md. Rashidul Hasan and Bangladesh Agricultural University Prof. Dr. Chayan Kumar Saha spoke as resource persons at the event.
