Bangladesh have been drawn with hosts Thailand, Malaysia and Philippines in the four-team Group H of the upcoming AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers, scheduled to be held on September 6-12.
Bangladesh will face Malaysia in their opening match on September 6 while they will take on Thailand and Philippines in their next two matches on September 9 and 12 respectively.
A total of 43 countries from Asia, split into eleven groups ---10 groups of four teams and one group of three teams-- will initially compete in the qualifying round.
11 group champions and four best runners-up teams will qualify for the 16-team final round of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup along with hosts Qatar next year.
