Two SSC examinees killed in Satkhira road accident

SATKHIRA: Two SSC examinees were killed in a road accident on the Satkhira-Khulna highway in Binerpota bridge area of Sadar upazila on Sunday night, reports BSS.

The deceased were identified as Ankush Sarkar, 17, son of Nimai Sarkar, and Akash Hossain, 17, son of Rafiqul Islam, residents of Patkelghata Kalibari area. Both of them are students of Patkelghata Bohumukhi High School.

The accident occurred in the area when a truck coming from the opposite direction hit a motorcycle, leaving its two riders Akash and Ankush dead on the spot around 8pm, Officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station Md. Nazrul Islam said.

Police recovered the bodies from the spot and sent the bodies to Sadar Hospital morgue.
