Today’s SSC exams postponed

All the educational boards have postponed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams, which were scheduled to be held today, due to cyclonic storm ‘Mocha’.

A press release from the inter-education board coordination committee on Sunday said Chattogram, Cumilla, Barishal, Jashore, Madrasa and Technical education boards postponed today’s examination earlier.

Today’s exam has been postponed as the question papers of the examination are identical to all the boards.

The schedule for the postponed exam will be announced later. However, the exam of Tuesday will be held as per the

scheduled time.

Earlier on Friday, Chattogram, Barishal, Cumilla, Madrasa and Technical education boards postponed Sunday’s

examination.

A total of 20,72,163 candidates from 29,798 schools, madrasas, and technical institutions registered for this year’s SSC and equivalent exams as some 374 students are taking part in the exams abroad, according to the Ministry of Education.
