A 13-member Bangladesh national table tennis team left Dhaka for the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday to compete in the South Asian Junior and Cadet Championship, scheduled to be held from May 14-17 in Itanagar.
Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation announced the team just before the flight on this day. Bangladesh emerged champions in the U-19 boys category of this regional event beating Sri Lanka in the boy’s held in Maldives last year.
Bangladesh team: U-19 boys: Muhtasin Ahmed Hridoy, Ramhim Lian Bawm, Abul Hasan Hasib, Sheikh Barkat Ali Sizan, Promit Khisa and Rajib Jahan Rayel; U-19 girls: Reshmi Tanchangya, Oishi Rahman, Khoi Khoi Marma, Musrat Jannat Sigma. U-15 boys: Mahatabur Rahman Mahi and Tahmidur Rahman Sakib; U-15 girls: Asma Khatun.
