Bangladesh are expected to leave for England on May 2 to play a three-match ODI series against Ireland.

Liton Das and Mustafizur Rahman, who are currently taking part in the ongoing Indian Premier League, will join the squad in England.

Meanwhile, Ireland on April 21 named a 14-member squad for the ODI series against Bangladesh, which will also be part of the ICC World Cup Super League.

Regular skipper Andrew Balbirnie will lead the side in the series while pacer Josh Little, who missed the recent tour of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, has also returned to the side.

The matches will be played in Chelmsford on May 9, 12 and 14 respectively. Before the series, Bangladesh will play a warm-up game against Ireland Wolves on May 5.

Ireland can get a potential automatic qualification spot in the upcoming ICC World Cup in India later this year if they can win all three matches. Bangladesh have already qualified for the global tournament.
