21 RMP employees get honour for good performance

RAJSHAHI: A total of 21 officers and members of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) were given honours as recognition for good performance in Rajshahi metropolis.
They were accorded the honor in a monthly crime review meeting held at RMP Headquarters conference hall here Wednesday afternoon with Commissioner Anisur Rahman in the chair, reports BSS.
In the review meeting, various issues related to law and order situation, smooth traffic management during the holy month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid festival, expediting the community and bit policing activities, carrying out of arrest warrant and progress of the important cases were discussed elaborately.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Anisur Rahman urged his subordinate colleagues to discharge their respective duties with utmost sincerity and honesty to attain trust and confidence of the peace loving public in general.
He also asked all the police stations, detective branch, traffic division and city special branch to put in their integrated efforts for combating crimes and ensuring improved traffic management. Commissioner Rahman, however, said that today’s honour will encourage and inspire other RMP members to do better performance.
Additional Commissioners Faruque Hossain, Bijoy Basak and Samsun Naher and Deputy Commissioner Saifuddin Shaheen also addressed the meeting.
