The news of ‘Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse’ release has already sent social media into meltdown. Not only in English but the action flick will be theatrically released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi and Bengali, reports Times of India.
Yes, you read it right! The upcoming Spider Man film is also releasing in Bengali. Many have appreciated the decision and lauded the makers imagining how it would feel to see a Hollywood film’s Bengali dubbed version. As soon as the Bengali trailer was released fans flooded the comments section with good wishes for the team. Many were left emotional after hearing their favourite childhood hero speaking in Bengali.
The makers have said in a statement that the last Spider Man film increased the franchise’s popularity manifold and they now wants to see a Spider Man fan in every Indian house. That’s why the decision was taken to release the film in Bengali as well alongside 8 other Indian languages. Needless to say Spider Man has a massive fandom in West Bengal also and seeing the film on the big screen in Bengali will surely be a magical experience for the audience.
