Seven youngsters to compete in European Junior Open Tennis

Bangladesh’s seven young tennis players from different age levels -- three girls and four boys -- got chances to compete in the upcoming JWTS-European Junior Open 2023.

Among them, Humaira Haidar Zara ranked top in U-12 and second in U-14, Sumaiya Akhter finished fourth in U-14 and Tanjila Akhter ranked 12th in U-16 in the girls’ category while Akash Hossain ranked top in U-12, Kabbo Gayen finished third in U-12, Tanvir Mun Tushar ranked top in U-14 and Md Sayem ranked top in U-16 in the boys’ category.

Meanwhile, the European Junior Open is scheduled to be held from May 29 to June 4 in Albena, Bulgaria.
