Mithun Chakraborty to star in Bangladeshi film ‘Hero’!

Celebrated Indian actor Mithun Chakraborty will star in a Bangladeshi film after a decade. The noted artiste will be seen acting in a film titled ‘Hero’ directed by Kamruzzaman Roman. Recently Kamruzzaman Roman and the screenplay writer of the film Abdullah Zahir Babu visited the actor in Kolkata.

Abdullah Zahir Babu shared the news on his Facebook page on Sunday. He wrote, “Today is a special day for me. The renowned Indian actor, Mithun Chakraborty has read my script and said ‘Brilliant, nice, I will act in this film.”

He also mentioned that they had sent the screenplay to Mithun Chakraborty three months back. And on Sunday they got the chance to sit with the star and discuss the film in detail.

According to Kamruzzaman Roman, the director of ‘Hero’, Mithun Charkraborty will play the role of a father in the movie. Though the actor is yet to officially sign onto the film, he has promised to do so, after adjusting his schedule. 

Kamruzzaman Roman said that they will officially sign Mithun Chakraborty for the film before the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr festival.

The story of the film is about a father and daughter. Mithun Charkraborty will portray the role of father. The other cast of the film yet to be selected.

Earlier, Mithun Charkraborty-acted first Bangladeshi film ‘Abichar’ was released in 1985. The actor’s last Bangladeshi film was ‘Golapi Ekhon Bilet’. The movie was released in 2010.
