Seven people were killed in two road accidents in Mymensingh and Bogura districts on Monday.
In Mymensingh, four people, including two women, were burned to death when a microbus caught fire after plunging into a roadside ditch in Trishal upazila of Mymensingh on Monday.
The deceased could not be known immediately, said Mohammad Maeen Uddin, officer-in-charge of Trishal Police Station.
The microbus was heading towards Dhaka from Dhobaura upazila when it overturned and caught fire, leaving four people dead on the spot and seven others injured, he said.
On information, a team of firefighters went to the spot and doused the fire, said Abul Kalam, station officer of Trishal Fire Service Station.
They recovered four charred bodies from inside the microbus, he said. The injured passengers were taken to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital, the official added.
In another incident in Bogura district, three people, including a child, were killed and six injured after a pickup van collided with a CNG-run autorickshaw on the Bogura-Natore highway at Nadigram upazila on Monday.
The deceased were identified as autorickshaw driver Hefzul Islam, 45 of the upazila; three-year-old Abdul Alim, son of Tansen Ali, and Minhazul Islam, 22, son of Sakhawat Hossain, and a student of Rajshahi City College.
According to locals, the autorickshaw was running towards Bogura district town from Nadigram. When it reached the Kundarhat area, a pickup collided with the vehicle, leaving three people dead on the spot and six others injured.
Kundarhat Highway Police Station SI Abul Hssain confirmed the matter.
Six injured persons were admitted to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital, he added.
The police seized the pickup van and the autorickshaw.
