BPL, Fed Cup resume in April, BCL in March

The second phase of Bangladesh Premier League 2022-23 will start on April 7 at six different venues across the country while the mid-season players’ registration window will be closed on March 14.

Bashundhara Group Federation Cup 2022-23 will resume with the first quarterfinal match between Bashundhara Kings and Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra on April 4 at the Shaheed Bir Sreshtha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.

The Professional Football League Management Committee of Bangladesh Football Federation, chaired by BFF president and committee chairman Kazi Salahuddin, made these decisions in an emergency meeting at the BFF house on Thursday.

In the other quarterfinals, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will play against Dhaka Abahani on April 11 at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj while Mohammedan Sporting Club will take on Chattogram Abahoni at the Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla and Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra will face Rahamatganj Muslim Friends Society on May 2 in Munshiganj.

The semifinals will be held on May 9 and 16 in Gopalganj and Cumilla, the third-place decider on May 23 in Gopalganj and the final on May 30 in Cumilla.

The second phase of Bangladesh Championship League 2022-23 will resume on March 29 at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.
