KHULNA: A tribunal on Monday acquitted two journalists from a case filed under the Information and Communication Technology Act in 2017.
Khulna Divisional Cyber Tribunal Judge Kanika Biswas pronounced the judgment at noon in presence of the accused.
On May 18, 2017, a report was published in the Bangla daily headlined ‘Complexities again in recruiting staff in Khulna Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court! President resigned’.
Tapan Kumar Saha, then acting administrative officer of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate filed a case in this connection against Babu and Shohag.
