The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, which students in Class 12 take ahead of starting university, were announced on Wednesday with a pass rate of 85.95 percent. About 1.2 million students countrywide took part in the exams. The country’s several athletes also took part in this major examination.
Among these examinees, Olympian archer Diya Siddique got GPA 5 (A+). Diya represented Bangladesh in women’s recurve and mixed recurve events in Tokyo Olympics.
Forward Sajeda Khatun, who was also a member of SAFF Women’s Championship winning team, also passed the HSC. Bashundhara Kings’ youngster Sheikh Morsalin also got GPA 5 (A+).
