A man was killed as his motorbike skipped on the Hanif Flyover in Jatrabari on Saturday, reports UNB.

The victim was identified as Md Rakib Hasan (32), son of Md. Ruhul Amin, a garment trader of Dhalpur area. He was residing with his mother Mumtaz Begum Sathi at a rented house next to Matuail Hospital.

He was rescued in a critical condition and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where the doctor on duty declared him dead at 4 pm.

Sub-Inspector Noor Mohammad of Jatrabari Police Station confirmed the death, saying that the dead body has been kept in the hospital's morgue for autopsy
