Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov on Saturday told RIA Novosti that Washington shouldn't expect the world to forget that it
fabricated its justification for the 2003 Iraq invasion. The Russian
diplomat made the remark on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the
now-infamous speech by then-US Secretary of State Colin Powell at the United Nations Security Council, during which he presented alleged
evidence of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, including biological ones.
