Today is the 17th death anniversary of former prime minister Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury, also a noted politician and Liberation War organiser.
Today is also the 14th death anniversary of his eldest son Abdullah Mizan, said a press release. On the occasion, fateha will be offered at their graves at 7am.
Besides, Qurankhawani and milad mahfil will be held at their ancestral home in Chandpur after Asr prayers.
Relatives, friends and well-wishers are requested to attend the programme and pray for eternal peace of their departed souls.
